Lanelle Pintal is an artist and educator born and raised in Queens, NY. She received her Bachelors in Art at CUNY Brooklyn College and has been a part of numerous group shows in New York including Brooklyn College, A.I.R. Gallery, and Materials for the Arts. Using recycled materials as her medium, Pintal creates art that considers our relation to and impact on the environment. By making practical use of objects to which she finds personal and nostalgic connections, Pintal gives them new life beyond their original context within minimal microcosms that critique practices of waste and reuse. Pintal currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and works in Queens, NY.
